Well, I wanted to comment, but held my tongue--probably a bad characteristic of a blogger, eh? Anyway, looking for comments from people that went to the Buzz Tent this last weekend: Comments, Suggestions? Let us know!

The people running the OBF are not all about the money--they are about the beer. Of course there are business considerations, but they will heed your cry--just let them know what you think. Speak up and drink up! Cheers!

I'm with Patrick on this one....good concept, poor execution. I'll only be there Thursday and perhaps Sunday, so I guess it doesn't matter for me anyway.

But I know I'd sure be bummed if I bought a $20 ticket to try Double Jack, Huge'R Boont, Double Kilt Lifter, '98 Boilermaker, etc and only got 2 or less of those beers in my sampler of someone else's choosing.

Damn...those all sound amazing, though.

I'm really sort of conflicted by this buzz tent. Too many of the brews are available around town (or from breweries that aren't buzzworthy, IMO) for me to want to pay $10/pint, esp. when I won't be in control of 1.5 pints.

Throw in that it means that I have to go Friday or Saturday, rather than Thursday, a day more befitting beergeekdom, and I might not bite on this 'deal.'

I like the concept, not overjoyed with the execution.
