Yep, I've been missing from the Portland beer scene: no events, no photographs, no articles, and last but definitely not least: no freakin' beer.   I've spent the last six days trapped on my couch, sweating and weeping with a terrible flu—rampant fevers, unmentionable television, and acute malaise.   A second, giant dose of antibiotics has put me back on my feet and I finally feel like I'm starting to win the battle.

I've got a lot to catch up on: beer updates, event listings, press releases. So please, bear with me as I try to climb atop my heap of to-dos. maybe by this weekend I'll actually be able to enjoy a beer and have something to write about!
