What happens when Oregon breweries brew German styles? Well, hopefully Bailey's Taproom gets a hold of a keg and puts it on for their annual GermanFest event! Appearing at this year's event are 19 beers from across Oregon: Bocks, Goses, Alts, Berlinerweisses, Helles, Marzen, and on and on. There are a lot of lager styles on the list below and this grouping gives us the chance to take a quick break from our ale-heavy Northwest.
For an early, uncrowded VIP admission into the event, you can buy tickets ahead of time (also includes a souvenir stein and six tastes). This gets you in the door at 2pm, while general admission patrons will have to drool on the windows until 4pm. Here's a list of which beers you can expect to see on Saturday:
