Fermented Photo: The HUB Organic IPA, Canned
What better way to get ready for the Fourth of July than a test run of the grill. Of course, the grill worked fine last weekend, so this is just another excuse to grill more food. And what test run would be complete without beer? For today's test-fire, I chose a newly canned Hopworks Urban Brewery IPA. Dark golden color with citrus (orange, grapefruit, mild lemon) and pine hop flavors, slight sweetness from the malt, and a soft bitter finish. It's a very easy drink and a full 16 ounces.
Also on the shelves right now is HUB Organic Lager. The Fourth of July still seems like a canned beer holiday to me, I'm just glad we've got a lot more great beer available in cans these days.
