Sure, you could site on a barstool and drink great beer. Or, you could find a date, grab your dancing shoes, and compete for prizes—all while drinking beer from some fantastic Portland breweries! Over ten Portland beers on tap from Breakside Brewery, Burnside Brewing, and the Commons Brewery. Rare barrel-aged beers will also be tapped throughout the evening. Celebrate the winter holidays by re-living your high school days at Breakside Brewery's Winter Formal on Saturday December 15th at the Melody Ballroom. This adults only flashback features 10+ craft beers and a dance floor presided over by the likes of DJ Anjali & The Incredible Kid and Boy Eats Drum Machine plus contests and prizes.
Remember that High School dance your couldn't get a date to go to? Or maybe the one you had the time of your life at with your first girlfriend or future wife? Breakside Brewery gives you the chance to relive or re-imagine that time with the mind-blowing addition of delicious craft beer.
Dress "Portland Formal" and bring your dancing shoes to compete for prizes like: Sharpest Dressed and Best Couples Dance or vote to crown the King and Queen of the ball. Or just get your picture taken by our on site photographer. With a full liquor bar and 10+ beers on tap from Breakside Brewery as well as friends Burnside Brewery and The Commons Brewery with some rare barrel-aged beer tappings throughout the evening you wont go thirsty. Snacks will be included but we recommend eating dinner ahead of the formal.
Tickets are $12 or $20 with 2 drink tickets. Bring a donation for Toys for Tots and receive a free drink ticket (must be a new unwrapped toy). Tickets available at http://www.strangertickets.
